Community Academy brings together the parts of education that are often hardest to create alone.
Students learn with peers, move their bodies, develop practical skills, gather around Scripture, and build meaningful relationships—while parents retain responsibility for their overall homeschool education. It is a Christian, co-op-style program, not enrollment in KAI’s private Hybrid School.

Each Tuesday is designed to reinforce what matters—faith, skill, confidence, creativity, and connection.
Faith at the center
Students begin together in all-school prayer. At 11:30, they gather for all-school Bible at the heart of the day. Prayer and Christian truth are woven into the culture, not added as an afterthought.
Learning made lively
Writing, art, critical thinking, entrepreneurship, physical education, and age-appropriate early learning give students fresh ways to grow.
Real community
Shared classes, Bible, lunch, and movement create the consistent peer relationships many homeschool families want without surrendering flexibility.

Rotations vary by age group, but the rhythm stays intentional: active mornings, a shared spiritual center, community at lunch, and focused afternoon learning.

Active Learning Rotations
Physical education, art, critical thinking, writing, and age-appropriate activities. PE is concentrated in the morning.
All-School Bible
The center point of every Community Academy Tuesday.
Community Lunch
Students bring lunch and make space for friendship and conversation.
Creative & Practical Rotations
Writing, art, entrepreneurship, and critical thinking. Entrepreneurship is concentrated after lunch.
Full-Day Dismissal
Individual-class students follow their registered schedule.

Community Academy is flexible by design. Families may choose the complete day or inquire about available individual classes.

Program tuition is divided into eight installments for the 30-Tuesday season.
Full Tuesday
8:30 AM–3:00 PM with the student’s age-appropriate Tuesday programming, Bible, and Community Lunch.

Choose the family structure that works best. This fee is per family—not per child.
Individual classes
Per student · class availability and times vary by age group.
Family participation or drop-off fee also applies. Payments may be made through Wave, by check, or by cash according to KAI procedures. Inquiry and approval come before final registration and payment arrangements.

Community Academy is not Hybrid School enrollment.
Parents remain responsible for homeschool oversight. Community Academy does not provide full-school records, grades, or KAI-directed home days. Families seeking formal enrollment, Thursday core academics, and school records should explore KAI Hybrid School instead.
Before you inquire
Is Community Academy Christian?
Yes. Prayer and Bible instruction are part of the program. Families are expected to respect KAI’s Christian mission, environment, and standards.
Do students wear a uniform?
No. Students follow a general modest dress standard: neat, appropriately covering, safe for activities, and suitable for a Christian educational environment.
What about lunch?
Students bring lunch from home unless KAI announces another arrangement. All-School Bible begins at 11:30 AM and Community Lunch begins at noon.
Does an inquiry guarantee acceptance?
No. KAI reviews each family inquiry first. If the program appears to be a good mutual fit and space is available, KAI will provide the next steps for approved registration.
Can we choose only certain classes?
Yes. Families may inquire about full Tuesday or available individual classes for their child’s age group.
